Service Description:

Support and training for internationally trained individuals with child care credentials or experience looking to work in a licensed child care facility in Ontario - 4 week online education and skills training sessions and job search strategies
Child care industry-specific certifications include:- Standard First Aid
- Emergency Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), including infant and child CPR
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training
- Food Handler training

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Internationally trained individuals 18 years and older with minimum 2 years experience in child care in their home country; must be Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person and reside in York Region; English at level CLB 6 or higher
