Service Description:

Adult day program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for adults with aphasia and related communication disorders in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care
- literacy and computer work
- creative communication
- family support
- meals and snacks
- medication monitoring
Service Details - Adult Service Programs
Transportation: provided by York Region Transit and is contracted as a service provider at a minimal cost to the client
Nutrition: catered hot lunch
Mobility Assistance: one person transfer for toileting * one person assistance to transition between program areas

$13.25 for each half day * subsidy available for eligible participants * additional fee for transportation
