Service Description:

Specialized information and referral services to newcomers and refugees * provides a wide range of culturally sensitive programs and services to support newcomers in settling and integrating into Canadian society, while promoting active participation in the community
Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) - Free English classes for adult newcomers to Canada * offered in a blended format (in-person and online learning) and run from Mon-Fri 9am-2:30pm * to obtain an English assessment, call ACHEV language assessment services at 1-855-330-8655 or email ysla@achev.ca
Care for Newcomer Children (CNC) available for eligible LINC participants, offered in-person Monday to Friday * care is provided for infants aged 6 to 18 months, and children aged 19 months to 6 years of age * session includes action songs, story time, crafts, show & tell and games
