Fall Assessment, Management and Treatment
A sudden loss of balance can lead to uncontrolled falls with serious consequences. Proper assessment by a health care professional can help decrease the risk of falls, help identify contributing factors to falls, and encourage the safe use of footwear, walking aids and other safety equipment.
See Fitness, Recreational and Social Programs for People with Disabilities, Fitness, Recreational and Social Programs for Seniors and Safety and Injury Prevention for non-publicly funded programs.
