Service Description: Community and residential programs provides caring, compassionate support to person facing a life-limiting illness, their caregivers and loved ones, or those grieving a loss * the hospice works cooperatively with physicians, palliative care teams, clergy, and other health service providers in the community

10 bed Residential Hospice provides quality, compassionate and comfortable care for clients at end of life

 Programs offered at Matthews House Community Hospice include:
  • visiting hospice
  • counselling and support
  • wellness programs

Presentations to the public, the professional community and schools are available upon request

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: People who need end-of-life care or bereavement supports (newly diagnosed or undergoing treatment) and their caregivers
